About Shin-Gi-Tai Karate Academy-Alberton
Our Story
Shin-Gi-Tai Karate Academy was originally founded by Sensei Llewellyn Oosthuisen in 1986 and grew from strength to strength along with Rokudan Veronika Van Den Heever. The club was then handed over to Sensei Jacqueline Keller And Nidan Lynda Myburgh at the end of 2017 due to Sensei Llewellyn Oosthuisen and Rokudan Veronika deciding to retire their karate career. We have decided to continue in their footsteps and have decided to stick with training in Shotokan, Shito-Ryu, and teaching the basics of self defense as well as living up to the meaning of our name, that being all styles.
